1960
FALCON MACHINE WORKS LTD. Founded by George Poitras to produce
equipment for the precast pipe industry. 


1961
4 acres of land purchased at our current address (57 Dawson Rd. Wpg.) to build
larger facility.


1965 Name changed and incorporated as FALCON MACHINERY (1965) LTD.

1966
Company actively designing, building and marketing large concrete pipe machines
and accessories across Canada. 


1973
Ray Poitras leaves the Farm implement manufacturing industry to help manage
Falcon with His father.


1974 Falcon joins P.I.M.A.

1974 ½
Falcon secures several new customers and diversifies into mass production of
parts for the agricultural farm implement industry.

1978
Falcon launches the “Falcon wood burning products” line and begins producing
thousands of wood burning stoves.

1982 Falcon wood burning products adds a new line of central heating wood furnaces.

1983 Falcon enters the galvanizing market with a small 13 foot kettle.


1993
Falcon ceases woodstove production and diversifies into infrastructure
construction projects.

1994 Falcon expands their Galvanizing plant. Kettle size increased to 31 ft. 


1995
Addition of 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor bridge crane runway and structurals processing
building.

2007
Addition of 15,000 sq. ft. weld/assembly shop to take on larger construction
projects. 


2015
Addition of 5000 sq. ft. office space and further 5000 sq. ft. expansion of weld/
assembly area.
